Welcome to the Yoga and Recovery website. I am Kyczy (pronounced keet-ski). I teach and write about yoga and addiction recovery. The study and practice of yoga and recovery support spiritual discovery and relapse prevention. You will find information about my yoga classes, my presentations as well as links to other sites and information to help you along your path to total wellness.
My Philosophy
The gentle hatha yoga classes are developed to bring one home; home to the breath, the body, the mind, your true self. The breath work brings prana (life energy) to the body and the mind, quieting the nervous system and practicing the skill of being in the moment. The movement of the body is essential to restore health and vitality to all the systems of the body as well as to release trapped energy and tensions. Final relaxation integrates the physical activity with the breath and can guide the whole being into a blissful meditation practice.
